Today it's my sisters birthday. She turns 27. My god, my sister is getting old(er)! Time flies and it puts your own life and age in perspective. When people you've always seen as being very much younger and doing other kinds of stuff all of a sudden are moving in together, working, getting married and having kidz (yes, Veronica too, pretty soon!), you start thinking about yourself and what you yourself are doing and have achieved or are planning to do. It is a good moment to reflect on your own situation. But this was heavy stuff smack in the middle of summer. Time for a cool drink, a lazy chair and a good book or conversation. Enjoy the summer - and your birthday Veronica!
