Now I know where all the spam comes from: the Netherlands. The Register reports that a Dutch guy sent oer 9 billion spam messages up until the end of 2005, making around 40 thousand euros off it. In the end he was caught by a group of Internet crime investigaors, helped by Microsoft. The guy claimed he had stopped way before 2005 using his Botnet (infected slave PC's), as his activities hadn't quite earned him the money he had hoped for.
