In a recent study by the French company Xitimonitor it is shown that Firefox is on the move up, gaining all over the line. The study is based on overall figures from the statistical programme the company sells/distributes. Now it is a common mistake to make generalizations from statistics from one particular site or program, but these statistics have been gathered from all over the world. Pretty soon we'll see Firefox 3.0, which has already entered the Alpha stage, so I can imagine that this will increase the percentages for Firefox even more, even though IE7 is slowly gaining momentum. Hopefully we'll slowly grow towards having compatible browsers, that support webstandards and make accessibility a common good.
