Finally, a little under a year since we visited the last race, it's once again time to pack our bags and head out for the Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix race. Hosted at the maginificent racetrack of Spa Franchorchamps, in the middle of a beautiful nature landscape, one of the most spectacular races of the season is yet again about to take off.
Last years visit together with my colleague Jonathan, his brother and a friend was such a hit that we decided in the Fall of last year to buy tickets for this years race. We got them at a discount because we were "early customers" - this year you get a 20% discount if you buy the raceweekend tickets for the 2006 race early. We'll stay in a small villa in the woods surrounding Spa and bike to and from the circuit, with food, beverages and a folding chair on our backs! Ready for another adventure!

Two weeks after we went to Spa (the Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix) Fernando Alonso became the 2005 Formula 1 World Champion. It is with mixed emotions that I write this, as my favouritism lies elsewhere, but I'd like to congratulate him on being so darn steady this year, almost always finishing on the podium. Happy 2005 Alonso!
