Accessible websites

13 April 2006

A new website has been released with an overview of accessible websites. It quite similar to the now quite (in)famous CSS Zen Garden in that it portrays websites that adhere to standards and use correct HTML and CSS, but never become boring layoutwise. It's an example for everyone who thinks that accessibility has to be boring - it doesn't! It's all about implementing the right strategy, using the latest standards and then adding a sprinkle of layout. Go check out Accessites.org and find out more about accessibility and webdesign!

Oh, and I almost forgot, the standard piece for everyone who wants to learn about accessibility, how to implement it and most importantly why: diveintoaccessibility. Authoured by the excellent Mark Pilgrim.
